during this project me and my team members used Adobe Inventor to design our turbine blade and also to preform a stress analysis on our blade. This analysis was done on wood along grain which was also our chosen material for this project.
Another great tool that I was able to learn was Granta which helped us find the best material for building our turbine blade. As the image below suggests, according to our calculations, the material with the highest MPI was wood along grain which ended up being what we used as our final material.
